The 10-Minute Launch: Taking Your AI Site Live Without the Headache
In my last video, we did the “impossible.” We built a fully functional business website for a fictitious ironing service in exactly 10 minutes using Claude AI. No coding, no design vortex, and no hours spent wrestling with builders.
But a website sitting in a preview window isn’t a business yet. It’s just a digital draft.
The “old way” of going live involved complex server configurations and enough technical jargon to send any “Hunter” brain running for the hills. In this video, I’m showing you how to bypass that four-hour technical slog and get your site live on a real domain in under 10 minutes of your own time.
Step 1: Claim Your Territory
The first step is grabbing a domain. I found ironing.co.uk for just £3.84 for the year. Whether you use Namecheap, GoDaddy, or names.co.uk, getting your domain is the first step to making your idea “real.”
Step 2: The AI Bridge
This is where the magic happens. I don’t know how to code, so I act as a “bridge” between the AI and my computer’s terminal. I simply asked the AI for step-by-step instructions. It gave me the commands, I pasted them into my terminal, and I fed the output back to the AI. It’s like having a lead developer sitting on your shoulder.
Step 3: Pointing the DNS
To make the site visible, you update your DNS settings with “A Records.” This basically tells the internet where your website “lives.” I show you exactly how to paste those numbers into your account settings so that within minutes, your domain is pointing to your new AI-built site.
Step 4: The Security Layer (SSL)
Nobody wants to visit a site that triggers a “Security Warning.” We use the AI one last time to request an SSL certificate (that’s the “S” in HTTPS). It takes about 60 seconds, and it ensures your site is secure, professional, and trusted by visitors.
The Result
When I say “under 10 minutes,” I mean 10 minutes of your time and effort. For an ADHD brain, a four-hour slog is where projects go to die. But this way? We can actually get to the finish line.
